The biggest challenge in a school as big as Rutgers is finding community. While clubs, involvement fairs, and RU event pages exist, they still do not encourage more intimate interactions. RU Down aims to solve this problem by creating a platform that allows students to host and attend hangout events. Students can post all types of events- everything from study hangouts to taco nights. Through this, the app aims to encourage more spontaneous meetings and help the large campus feel smaller.
